wep cracked, still can't connect

Hi,

I have cracked the WEP using spoonwep2 (great tool), I got the key but I still can't connect to the wireless network. I have tried both Windows xp and BT it just wont connect. I tried to change the mac address of my wi-fi adapter to one of the macs I see conneted to the network, but still no luck. I thought that may be the access is also restricted some how by the network name or some other way.
Any suggestions?

I have saved some encrypted traffic from the network and was able to decode it with Cain using the wep key, so I know it's the correct key.

IF (big 'if') it's you're network, you should have already known if the key is correct; and IF it were your network, you should be able to diagnose the problem based on looking at packets on both ends and determining the issue. Since you don't know those things, the fact of the matter is you're doing something illegal, which isn't condoned or discussed here.
