Problem cracing WEP

I have been trying to crack WEP for a while now but i keep getting stuck at the point where i need to get the message "Association successful" , where i have to enter (aireplay-ng -1 0 -a (bssid) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 -e (essid) (interface)).

I am using the (How to Crack a Wi-Fi Network's WEP Password with BackTrack guide and my wireless card is ar9285) guide, and driver ath9k, I have the ar9285 card. I keep getting the message that says it could not get the association and gives me a bunch of options to fix the problem. Any ideas? Is it that my driver does not support injection

i remember seeing somewhere that you can try different numbers by the -1 0
any way i had the same problem but continued w/o it and i was able to crack the code
this command is just suppose to speed up the process

aireplay-ng -1 6000 -o 1 -q 10 -a ROUTER-MAC -h YOURMAC (interface)

log in your AP or whatever it is and see if there is one of security features switched on.
