kkelles - you don't need to copy your dictionary / password list to BT4, you simply have to have it available on any mountable media and provide a path to it in what ever tool you use for cracking, i.e.

    Code:
aircrack-ng -w <path to your dictionary / password list> <path to your capture file> [other options as needed]
By the way, BT4 comes with test / practice password lists, look in /pentest/wireless/aircrack-ng/test/

An entry in the FAQ forum.

    http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...drives-bt.html

    Quote from paragraph two:

Do you have a large wordlist on a removable media, and are not able to work out how to use that wordlist in BackTrack?
It seems like what you are after.
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.

    Try "man cp"
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.

Just use konqueror (the little globe button next to K menu, (start in windows), then choose storage media, now hit refresh, the little green circle above the task bar, and you should see your media HDD etc, If you get an error when trying to access it, you most likely did not do a clean shut down from windows etc.
Sometimes I try to fit a 16-character string into an 8–byte space, on purpose.
