Wireless Card USB

Hi Everyone

Can anyone recommend a wireless card that will work with backtrack 3 or 4 that i can crack my wep with, I have a hp mini 110 and i ve decided to go for a USB Wifi Adaptor. I cant seem to find any recommendations or at least any card within the site that actually works under BT3 BT4 FOR WEP / WPA Cracking.

The popular choice is the ALFA 36h. I have the 1000w version, and it works out of the box, with great range.

i also confirm that the awus036h is the best choice , 500mw or 1w versions, with rtl8187 chipset

take care to not choose a awus036Nh wich have a rtl2800 chipset, that have not support out of box in BT4 or 3

Yes the 500mW & 1000 models run fine on Vmware. As SV mentioned the awus036Nh isn't well supported currently.

Get the TP-LINK TL-WN821N and you'll get it working in two min or less plus a it's n00b pr00f. Get it and follow this

Yeah but the alfa Is pretty expensive but if your the average person the TP-LINK TL-WN821N is good.
