Awus036 rtl8187 connection Lost [BT Final]

Hey folks, i just boot up btfinal, and typed in (as always)

iwconfig wlan0 mode managed essid " " key " "

dhclient wlan0

ping www.google.de

64 bytes from bw-in..... (52.123.43.102)......

Works great, but after a few seconds the connection interrupts, and i have no more connection to the destination host.

so i looked at

dmesg

but found out nothin, special.

is it possible that there are troubles with the drivers ?

(on the old pf, kernel version all worked well)

hmmmm....I have been playing with the monitor capabilies on BT4 Final so I need to check the network connection......I have the same wireless.

But, you can try:

rmmod rtl8187
modprobe r8187

Both are included in BT4 Final.

I'd check dmesg, the last few lines at least to see where the problem lies. If this is a WPA/WPA2 secured network, I'd try to use wpa_supplicant to give me a slightly more verbose error.

Simply write the rtl8187 to the blacklist and you're done
