how to inject with ath9k driver?

hi.
I am trying to do a injection. I am running the latest backtrack 4 pre release.
capturing data with airodump works.
but the injection fails with aireplay. I am using the ath9k driver.
do I have to update / patch the driver, to get the injection running?
Since I am a newbie to the linux world, can someone tell me how to patch the ath9k driver, to get the injection running?

In the future it would really be best to stick with either the German or English section of the forum, whichever you feel more comfortable with. This will help those that do post in both languages to do double work as it were. Thanks.
