Hi there,
I'm new around here.
I owe a Dell xps M1330 with VMware installed on .
and got live CD of backtrack 3 and 4 .
recently I got intersted in cracking WEP encryption .
so I google and found out alot of info about it .
but when I open my Virtual machine with Backtrack on it .
I wont have any ethernet card.
well I've got a network card (eth0) but it wont see the wireless AP.
it wont even scan for AP . (like i dont have a wifi card installed).
I'm using Dell mini 1395 WLAN card.
can anyone help please?

I though newbie is the right place as I am a newbie .
I searched for more information about the issue , and I found 2 threads talking about that.
one was about VMware - that I will have to buy a usb wifi card (??)
second , I found that backtrack support my wifi card . but it wont have mointor mode . or something like that.
