Hey i have backtrack 4 pre-final installed with VMware fusion i have a compatible usb wireless card (Alfa Network awuso36h) and i believe it should work out of the box, as i read it already has the drivers! So this is what i get:

Well im online, but one more question my network adapter doesnt flash? I know its kinda silly cause its still working but, id like to be able to see it working if u get me? And ive searched that ones definetly not on here!
Im on MacBook too mate, but im using VMware Fusion if u get that i may be able to help ya get online, this lot dont seem to bother cause they prob get it everyday!![]()
Smiler: That's probably something to do with led_cfg. I'd try upgrading the kernel to the latest one that's in the repository and if its still no dice, maybe you need to tinker around if you want flashing led.
