wanted to ask which drivers can you prefer which are currently good for the new alfa AWUS050NH (chip: RT2870)

About all I have to say on the matter.

I don't seem to have much luck with the mac80211 thing on either of my cards, maybe I need to invest more time in it. Havent tried the latest compat drivers, maybe better now, if you can get them to compile..

Currently there is only one driver available for it and its a vendor supplied driver.

There is now also kernel 2.6.30.5 in backtrack's repository, not that it maybe guarenteed to work but its another option.
