Im having trouble disableing monitor mode.

Im able to enable it with:
airmon-ng start wifi0

and i am shown that ath0 and ath1 are the parents of wifi0

so when i use ifconfig down ath0 it destroys the VAP

and this disallows me to change the mac address

any help would be appreciated.

or a full tutorial specifically for the WPN511
