I'm pretty sure you need the hex version of the key to work with iwconfig.
Can anyone please help me out with connecting to the network with BT4??
For example,
root@bt:/# iwconfig wlan0 mode managed essid ALIEN key alienwifikeys
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
invalid argument "alienwifikeys".
Any solution could i get from any of you guys?
Thanks.

try 'key s:alienwifikeys'
I think it's working with key s:alienwifikeys because when i enter it then i doesn't shows any error but i can't confirm whether it's working that way or not because i haven't try with ALIEN network for now. Btw, what does "s" stands for? There is anymore ways other than "s"?
Thanks for your assist mikes.

Glad to hear it.
Dude, do you really need assistance with that ? Think about it.Btw, what does "s" stands for? There is anymore ways other than "s"?
"man iwconfig" is your friend
By the way, you don't specify if you are talking a bout a WEP or WPA key... I might be wrong, but I think that the method with iwconfig is only valid for WEP ; for WPA you'd better use wpa_supplicant (which is not hard to configure, either)
Cool cool. Atares showed me the path the the manual guide. Now i could get a better understanding. Thanks for your help btw.
