    Works just fine for me.
BTW are you sure you are using bt4 pre-final?
    Code:
    root@dorkbox:~# apt-get install vlc

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
The following extra packages will be installed:
    Output truncated
0 upgraded, 42 newly installed, 0 to remove and 24 not upgraded.
Need to get 14.3MB of archives.
After this operation, 48.1MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? n
    Abort.
    root@dorkbox:~#
Make sure spelling is correct. If that fails try to do it from source.

Here's a tip, search through the apt yourself:

    Code:
    apt-cache search songbird
And if I didn't get the command right (I'm doing it from memory) let me introduce you to the most valuable tool of my generation:

    Google
    Still not underestimating the power...

Looking at his command prompt, I'd say no.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
