    Default BT4 pre-final 8gb SD, eee pc 900

So what is the trick to get an eee pc 900 to boot
BT4 pre-final from an 8gb sd card? I have ran both bt3 and bt4 off a 2gb sd card with not issues...everything seems fine on the 8gb card (1.5gb for bt4 and 6gb for persistence). I can bring the sd card up on any of my linux boxes and both partitions seem fine. Can bring it up on the eee pc 900 from the linux native to the box...I just can't seem to get it to boot of the SD card (and yes, the BT4 partition is set as bootable). Any insight would be much appreciated as I'd prefer to keep it on an SD card instead of having to use an 8gb USB key as I like the SD card being internal to the eee pc.

Bah...I've tried two different 8gb SD cards and the 900 won't boot off either of them. I even flashed the latest BIOS for the 900 and it didn't make a difference either. Maybe the 900 just don't like 8gb SD cards... Both cards are read when I boot into the native linux on the 900...it just wont boot from either of them.

Try using 'esc' at startup, not 'F2', then select the sd card. It worked on my 900. Message me if you need more help.

Coincidentally, I am using an 8GB SD card as well.

    Bitstream,

My car doesn't work. What should I do ? What is the trick ?

Additional info: my motorbike works fine.

(I'll get an infraction for this post but i cannot accept this sort of questions)
