Question BackTrack on VMWare 6.5.1 build-126130

Hi all, am running bt3 on VMWare 6.5.1 build-126130 from and iso image. Is it possible to install VMWare tools when one is running bt3 from an iso? Am running Fedora release 10 (Cambridge)

Nope. You want the Vmware image. This can be found at the same download site as the ISO image.

Yes you can install vmware tools. There are generally two ways to go about this. One use the tools that come with vmware , or two download and compile them yourself. Generally it only requires copying the tools .tgz to a directory and then extracting and compiling them.
There are tutorials all over the internet for this.
Post back with the relevant info if you need more help.
You can also do as the above OP stated and get the vmware image which maybe faster/easier.
To be successful here you should read all of the following.
