    Post md5-utils

    Hi all !
This is my first contribution. It's a MD5 cracker.

It has usefull options like :
    - password testing (possibility to be used by another script or soft)
    - encrypt one or several words with possible test
    - try to decrypt one or more hash(es)
    - script update

Then, there is a funny option to display decrypted words in one line. Usefull to decrypt a sentence.

If you've ideas or comments, I accept all

Man, screenshots and downloads (archive + lzm module):
    Code:
     ==> hxxp://md5-utils.sourceforge.net/ <==
    Hope you like!

Well the french parts are ok, because i speak french, but I think a lot of people won't try it because it's french. Maybe you should change the default to english?

    - h option works fine
    - maybe you could provide a Readme in english with some examples or provide short examples in the help page. Only understood it with your website
    - it's confusing that i can do a normal "-m <hash>" but can't do a "-m <hash> -s 0" but instead have to use "-s 0 <hash>". Maybe you could change the -m list from space-separated to comma-separated (that's why you do it like this I think)?
    - there was no update available, think that's ok. There is a french word in your english text: "make a copy of your modifications and paste it after the update".
    - maybe you could also use the biggest md5 database lookup website of the world: md5 reverse lookup,Md5 crack
    - I tried "-h -v Hallo du HELLO999234" and the program hung up and i got the following:
Use of uninitialized value $cherche in pattern match (m//) at ./md5-utils line 861.
Oh and even with your example "Bonjour cher V1s1TeUUr" it hung up:
Use of uninitialized value $cherche in pattern match (m//) at ./md5-utils line 861.
    - "-h -p salut mec !" and "-m -p ..." works fine
    - "-t hello" didn't work at all and did just nothing. What should it do?
    - i normally expect that -h and --help prints the help page and -v is verbose mode. But maybe that's only what i prefer.

Nice work! Maybe you could develop your script further so that you can choose also other hashfunctions like MD4 or SHA1...

I never got feedback for my program. Maybe you could try mine: http://forums.remote-exploit.org/pro...7-gooscan.html

-m option is looking for all servers, so add -s 0 is useless.
I add this option for trying to reverse several hashes, but honestly I don't think it's very usefull.

I already look for add this server but the form use variables for its ID. But I'm looking more deeply, it's a very big database!

    It's corriged!

Normal. If the word is find in one of the servers, it will return 1, else 0.
Try -t hello and see the returned code. It can take time for unknown words.

Oh yes I did an error. So I changed hash options (now -c [or --crypt]), -h (or --help) displays help message and -e (or --exist) replace -v (or --verify).

The idea is good but I don't think I will develop this script for others hashfunctions. Perhaps write others scripts based on md5-utils later...

    I will see that.

    Then the update :
    Code:
     - added support for Windows
     - option for display colors
     - now you can run the script where you want (in the lzm I place files into /opt/pentest/password)
Thank you for theses usefull critics!
