Anyone have any ideas?
I've been having a look around and came across this
linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-newbie-8/getting-usb-to-work-in-backtrack-2-606118
There they are saying the persons problem is the CD, but i dont see how that can be the same for me as i have got Backtrack 3 burned onto 3 CD's.
Aswell as that i tried this
linuxconfig.org/Howto_mount_USB_drive_in_Linux
It's saying how to mount a usb device. I tried the first step where it says enter 'fdisk -1' I did that but my output of the command give this.
I dont know if it makes much difference knowing the exact devices im using, here they are in case it does. The USB pen drive is 'Buffalo usb 2.0 flash drive' and the external hardrive is a 'Seagate FreeAgent Go 250gb'bt ~# fdisk -1
fdisk: invalid option -- 1
Usage: fdisk [-b SSZ] [-u] DISK Change partition table
fdisk -L [-b SSZ] [-u] DISK List partition table(s)
fdisk -s PARTITION Give partition size(s) in blocks
fdisk -v Give fdisk version
Here DISK is something like /dev/hdb or /dev/sda
and PARTITION is something like /dev/hda7
-u: give Start and End in sector (instead of cylinder) units
-b 2048 (for certain MO disks) use 2048-byte sectors
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
