    Default Need help for backtrack2

    hi guys,

    I am new user on backtrack. I have downloaded a 860mb backtrack *.vmdk file.
    but when i am trying to use it in vmware its giving error something like "cannot open Cannot open disk "C:\Documents and Settings\Aman Thakur\My Documents\Downloads\extracted backtrack\Other Linux 2.6.x kernel.vmdk".

    Can anyone please help me?

    You might want to consider bt3 of bt4 beta.
    The have more support available for them.
    Also make sure that the md5sum is correct for the file.

    also make sure you have permissions for the file (ownership etc)
