what about WPA ???

using aircrack-ng or cowpatty and CPU max what we can get is from 100 to 1500 PMK/s
lets use GPU as far as I know best for now Is Nvidia and if we will talk about something not very expensive will be gtx 295 we will get max 21000PMK/s with standard included in backtrack for example,
double gtx 42000PMK/s
we can use pyrit cuda which is included in backtrack 4 but we need some program to actually hack password and this can be aircrack-ng which is really not design to work with GPU
best in colection of backtrack 4 will be cowpatty I gess?
is there any program that is specially design to work with GPU?
someone told me somethink about Elcomsoft this is probobly russian company and as far as I know they are specialist in hacking WPA
I forgot also you can use tesla from Nvidia probobly for now is the fastest card can do around 51000PMK/s but is expensive
ATI is cheaper than Nvidia but you will get half speed of Nvidia
I did found some webs talking abut multiple cards example gtx farm someone made rack with 21 gtx295 cards. if you will use it with pyrit this will be around 400000PMK/s
I think that for now best is to give up WPA because if you think really about it, will cost you lot of money. and the software is still not the best to work with GPU. unless you really need and you will find your way.
I'm using or checking backtrack 4 for the last few weeks my experience is that?
if you want use it and you dont know much about linux you will need lot of time to understand or make it work for you how you want. My advice don't give up I say that to my self every day
many included tools in Backtrack4 are ok generally what I would say If you start start from backtrack you have many in one place.

I wanted show to people how I got from single GTX295 35000PMK/s.

This is not possible and is simply not true.

The nvidia 295 gtx gets about 20,000 pmk/s max at the bench mark and about 18,000 actual.

The C1060 Is the next card up which is really just a fancy 295 gtx specially made for CUDA computing. It has the same amount of cores as a 295gtx but has some memory improvements which give it a edge when programming C using CUDA. This card is twice as much as a 295 gtx with little improvement.

The S1070 which is nvidia's CUDA flagship is comprised of essentially 4 295 gtx's. so in theory it would be capable of 80,000 pmk/s . This type of powere will also cost you 10,000 US dollars.

The GPU power is used to speed up the creation of hash's which are then feed into cowpatty or aircrack so the answer here is yes, pyrit is the program.
