    Default packet injection with AWUS036H

why it does not work, I tested wep, its all good but when I test wpa there is no response to injection, I have to manually turn off my tartget to get a handshake, why is that, what is going wrong?

Whats going wrong is that you have no idea what you are doing.

Yes your card has defected. It decided that your probable illegal actions are not in compliance with the laws of your country, and it not then with the forum. I am sure that these are not your aps.
I would suggest you leave them alone.

specify your bssid when doing injection tests. You could harm someone elses router. Make sure you're not sitting beside your router either. Too much power and it doesn't cooperate right.
There will be no shelter here. The front-line is everywhere.

If so then you are going about it the hard way. Look on the box of your router/AP it will tell you its capabilities, should you no longer have the box or instructions then use the internet. Everyone's dog knows that wep is garbage. As such only fools use it. Anyone smart enough to come to the forums and knows the difference between wep and wpa knows not to use wep. So no need to "test" that. As for wpa if you have the longest key possible (63 random characters including special symbols) then you are pretty much "unbreakable" for now. So there really is no need to test that either.

If you want to "test your network capabilities" then do yourself a favor and read the link that I provided to you. Also have a look at the tutorials done here by xploitz they have helped probably 1000's of people by now.

Look man I am all for you figuring out how it works but at the same time you gotta read, and make sure your not messing with other peoples stuff. We really have no idea who you are and/or what you may be trying to do.
As such there will always be some reservations here within this community.
Once you read through the link and the tutorials I posted for you then try it out again. If you get stuck post back here the exact steps you have taken and someone will help you out. As for being an *ss that is your opinion and like *ss'es we all have 'em, but thanks anyway.

Post the commands you using when attempting to capture the WPA handshake. Otherwise, it's too hard to guess exactly what you are doing and what may be going wrong.
