I have installed BT3 on a USB drive using the steps found at this link.

When i select compiz from the menu the icon appears but it is not working. When i attempt to start it via the terminal i get the message "compiz (core) - Fatal: No composite extension"

I have a dell xps 1330 with a intel graphics card. I have compiz running in Ubuntu no problem. What else can i try to get this working? Any help is greatly appreciated.
