- Have you tried manually modprobing ipw3945/iwl3945 and the results?
- Have you checked dmesg?
- If those did not work have you tried booting without enabling acpi?

Because I am using VMWare to install the BackTrack. Will this has impact on detecting my wireless card?
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
OK I see I see. Any USB external Wireless Card you would like to suggest to me? >,0
Thanks.
I have just tried to use my wireless USB Adaptor with BT3. However it still cannot detect my wireless USB Adaptor. Is it because of the adaptor is not support or I need to install some driver (i.e. ipw3945 etc.)??
However I can use this adaptor to browse website using the Firefox within the BT3. I am using VMWare to install BT3...>.<

I am going to buy a wireless USB adaptor for my BT3 using VMWare. I found the following model should work well with BT3 and kismet...
ALFA Networks AWUS036S
AVM Fritz! Wlan USB V1.1
Edimax EW-7318USG
Netopia ter/gusb-e
OvisLink Evo-w54usb
Are they all work well or any other suggestions??
