BT and kingston usb
I just got a 8 gb kingston usb and I got the iso, put the boot and BT folder in it and ran the bootinst.bat and I reboot and boot up the usb and it goes stright to windows. It worked fine on my 1gb PNY stick. any suggestions?
As you mention that you successfully booted off another USB stick on the machine I am going to assume that you have correctly set the machine to primarily boot from the USB drive?.Originally Posted by blacksuit16
Many Kingston USB drives comes with U3 preinstalled and this will prevent you from successfully boot from the drive. Did you take care to completely uninstall and remove every trace of this feature before installing BT3?

Yes start all over. I would suggest the tutorial here.
You may need to adjust a few things here and there to suit your needs.
However the tutorial is a good one.
Also make sure that your are in the usb drive when you do the bootinst.bat
