Its hard to help someone that doesn't even bother to read the forum rules when applying to be a member. Maybe you should give them a re read paying special attention to the section on new member posts.

I know it has to be something simple that I am missing.

If you are talking about the cross post where I tryed to resend my post after not seeing it appear in the newbie area "where i was trying to post per the rules" then sorry that the tagg saying something about my post will be reviewed by a mod or something first: only flashed up for about 2 seconds and I was only able to vaguely catch enough few words the second time around to tell enough about what it said and that i would have to wait. But I dont controll the time that little tagg stays up after the submit button is pushed.
If you dont have anything to contribute to my post dont reply at all to it.
It is quite clearly stated in the forum rules, so the popup excuse is not valid at all.
Here it is in case you missed it
New registrants posts will be moderated first, causing a slight delay in the post appearing
also
Do not cross-post - 1 post in the relevant area is enough!
I am not contributing to "your" post and will reply to it if I like.
If you cannot follow the rules or be civil to the moderators who are only doing their "job" then do not post at all.
and I was no more uncivil than what was to me; the same should go to mods also
Sometimes I try to fit a 16-character string into an 8–byte space, on purpose.
