I was not able to solve the problem until now - even with fglrx driver the problems continued... :mad:

I`ve got EXACTLY the SAME PROBLEM! First I installed Backtrack 5 Gnome x64 version. I also installed the AMD ATI official driver from their homepage for my ATI Radeon HD 5xxx and also installed...
