I'm trying to install backtrack on my laptop, but, i can only start the live cd with first option if i changed the parameters(splah to nomodeset) but when i type startx the screen goes...

Same problem here but my video car is ATI HD5450 and i can't install the BT5 because when i type startx on the prompt i get the black screen...
