Hi there!
Before trying BT5R2 I would like to know which tools are installed.
Can someone post the list of those tools?
I hope to have guessed the right section for this kind of help....:p
Ok,got 3.0.3 up and running, but without bt5r1 patches...it seems to work, but i would try to apply patches from bt5r1.
Any idea where to get them?
Many thanks!
Hi there!
Just a quick question...
I know how to compile a kernel (i'm able to follow a guide...), but i couldn't find the patches and the .config of the actual bt5r1.
I've found the...
so,sickness, there's not way (at the moment) to use bluetooth without "downgrading" the entire bluetooth system?
works for me
Thanks a lot, just burning my image, then install , then follow your suggestions!

It would be nice if aircrack-ng-cuda will be included...

I'm just upgrading with your script...
i've noticed packages about kde...does this upgrade install kde ???? (i'm using gnome!)
Small update...
doing apt-get dist-upgrade didn't solve the problem (the distro-upgrade updates firmware and kernel...).
1) no virtualization...run from hdd
2) bt5 gnome 32 bit
3) dunno where you can find it now :( try googling, i'm 101% sure you'll find it
4) i'm using a pci card...so no usb adaptor required :)
5)...
no way...it doesn't work for my card:
root@bt:~# iwconfig wlan0 power off
Error for wireless request "Set Power Management" (8B2C) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.
i'll try asap!!!!!
no way...i'm still having the same issue.
I'm going mad...do someone have some other tips?
it SEEMS that "wpa-ifupdown" was causing the problem...it's 12 mins that i've no problem...gotta see what will happen..

Edit:
no way...after 30/35 it stops
investigating...
it's a desktop with a netgear pci card (wg311 i think...)
thanks 11011, i know you weren't implying that :) (my english is not very good!)
I've taken a look at what you suggested, but didn't find anything...matbe there's something that i cannot find!...
This is the content of the 2 folders:

I've just tryed from the live dvd and got the same results...after some minutes airodump stops capturing packets,i've also tryed reinstalling on hdd, same result.
Any idea?
I've the same exact problem with bt5, and yes, i'm using airmon-ng start wlan0
Any suggestion?
No way to have ettercap (as an option of course!!!) to parse the traffic?
Still here?

or changed?
I totally agree with you maverik35, infact atm i'm installing the tools i need into ubuntu, while keeping an eye on bt5.
I hope to find some other useful infos to fix the ettercap problem of bt5...
just tryed on latest ubuntu and works...
Thanks maverik, i've already modified etter.conf with the appropriate id (in my case it's 0 maybe because i'm root? dunno...should investigate), and yes, i've performed the suggested steps in your...
