    Re: Script for sniffing traffic.

You should know more about how it works. Hint : sslstrip.

Means it hasn't found anything yet.

Re: router ip and connected nic retrieval code

You should chmod +x intercepter_linux, prior to running this.
Also, this seems a bit overkill just to get those info ; i use
ip route show and then pipe it to awk according to what I need.

    Re: Script for sniffing traffic.

That is not possible, unfortunately. What you can do is attack all connected equipment independently, and then stop them separately. And, nope, sslstrip doesn't log lan IP. You could run wireshark...

Re: Is it illegal to gain access to your own server/site?

Depends where you live, and where the server is hosted. First thing to do is check the stuff you agreed to upon renting a server with them. It will most probably what you can or cannot do.

    Re: Script for sniffing traffic.

Hey, SM (no pun intended)! I just saw your post (or I forgot I saw it). I have very little time on my hands, but I started working on a more-to-the-point version on Yamas, that will include that....

Re: Reinstall only the grub boot loader

It doesn't change anything, you just have to rewrite your MBR (Master Boot Record), and that's totally independent from the OS you have installed.

    Re: Script for sniffing traffic.

Ok, so I read the article. It's very interesting indeed. I think I might implement something similar but not to the full extent. I mean, I could implement html code modifications on the fly, which...

    Re: Script for sniffing traffic.

I'm installing BT in a VM so I don't have to reboot each time an idea pops into my head, forcing me to... yes, stop my music. So, I should from now on be more reactive. I then shall start with what...

You, sir, are totally right. I must level with you though: that doesn't mean I'll do it (even if it would be awesome).

    Who knows, maybe someday you'll get a pre-release ;)

    Re: Script for sniffing traffic.

It's a good point you're raising and I've thought of doing that before. But here's the thing, the milion dollar question : where do I stop ? I intended Yamas to be "another MITM script", not a...

    Re: Is this forum dying?

I remember a very active time during BT4R2 period, and then with BT5, it seems like it started agonizing. The heavy problems the forum had for a while sure didn't help I think.

    Even though the...

Uh well, to defend against WPS attacks... Why not deactivating the WPS service ? It can be done on most routers, and will get rid of that problem. As for the mac filtering, you block everything but...

@Snayler : yes, thanks for filling in for my bad memory and approximate terms :) I wasn't too far off though ! And I agree with everything else you said, so you save me some time and thinking !
  22. Re: Looking for a wifi radar which tells the direction of the frames of an AP is comi

There is a linux distribution that does that, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it right now. Anyways, for doing so you must be using a particular wifi antenna, a type called...
