there are alot of laptops with an acpi problem, mine included, I dont know why BT4 doesnt boot with acpi on, but please anyone, give it a try and fix it!!! :D

my laptop boots only in quiet mode, when I press e on grub loader and select "quiet" tab to boot, I have 3 boot kernels: windows 7, hp recovery, and backtrack4
how can I set backtrack to start in...

it didnt work, it says error 27 : unrecognized command, where do I have to write dmesg?

I burned BT4 r1 to a dvd because of some reason the usb boot gets ignored...
now it just stops at 25% installing (laptop only pc works perfect)
it says:

Bei mir steht da immer wieder Cman failed to start seitdem ich das update gemacht habe, kernel ....4 und ...5 beide das selbe
was kann ich noch machen?
