The rt2870sta driver doesn't work at all :(

i have the v2 version of the AWUS050NH with rt2800usb and i have some problems:
- i can't change the tx power to values >7dBm
- i can't connect to any networks but i can inject without problems
...

There is no usefull help in the sticky posts for this problem.

the connection is less stable that under backtrack 3 and sometimes it refuses to reconnect to the network :(

i just found that it works when i precise channel & essid, i don't understand because it works well under bt3 and the signal is 50%+...
