    VMware player - freeware
    VMware workstation - commercial. (Trial is available)

    The backtrack VMware image works with both.

    You can't use your internal WiFi cards in a Virtual Machine.
    You'll need a USB one.

    *Same goes for using any GPU power, you can't inside a VM*

    After making the hard drive bigger in VirtualBox, have you then made the partition itself bigger?
    You'll need to re-use the live CD and use Gparted (GUI method), to increase it.

    Like the error message says. Your low on disk space.

    Either make the partition bigger, upgrade your hard driver, install to a different location or remove some "stuff" to make room

    I use the version of wireshark thats in the repos, unless they haven't updated it and there is a security issue. Then Ill compile from source.
