    Have you tried ifconfig [name of your card - ath0 etc] up. ath0 is seen as wlan0 in BT4-FINAL l believe.
    ifconfig ath0 up

    Usually works for me.

    Thanks for the reminder Archangel. l just assumed, like Raven above that Zac had installed it properly with Unetbootin, and he was getting the Green login_prompt which only requires 'startx'....

    Well l have a Packard Bell Easynote which comes with Broadcom and the Atheros wifi chip and it works perfectly with BT4-FINAL USB. So, the DOT might be similar.

    Packard Bell Easynote works great

    l just bought a P.Bell Easynote [TJ series] and tried the Atheros 9x card out with Gerix [running from persistent USB]. Everything seems to work great including packet lnjection. lt's all good.

    l've got those USB menus on my Easynote laptop, but there's no problem seeing which is the USB with BT4 on it. On boot [l usually hit the F12 key] it gives the name of the USB - Sancruzer etc.
