After 2 weeks I was able to install Bumblebee on Backtrack 5.
I advice to install it on a clean installation of Backtrack.
1. Re-install & reconfigure Python
sudo apt-get install --reinstall...
From terminal:
dpkg-reconfigure wicd
update-rc.d wicd defaults
reboot
apt-get upgrade
I received an official response from the Bumblebee support:
I believe that there's no solution.. ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates PPA don't work properly in BT :(
Definitely I don't play video games in BT5, but I want to take advantage of the the video card and have the nvidia control panel to change resolution, etc.. just that :) Optimus technology is helpful...
