Looks like that was the issue... my friend and I tried it again this evening... got my friend's wep (and verified), then cleared the files and got mine and verified.

I'll give that a go this weekend when I get back home. I guess I figured it would automatically overwrite or delete the files when I ran a new one... but then again, that's pretty foolish to expect...
