What happens when you dhclient into your wlan0?
Derv,
Thanks again for another quality project. Works great on my ALFA adapter.

The remote-web-workplace-attack-tool comes with a README file, I highly recommend it.
P.S. I am assuming that no "illigaly" is involved.

I see my suspicions that this adapter is crap are being confirmed. First thing that really jumped out was the lack of real specs, like cards power - i am guessing that its 70mw tops. The second thing...
That usb adapter/antenna combo listed on ebay is unremarkable at best. All I am seeing is a sub 500mW dongle and a 5db antenna – either of those are far from ideal if you are looking for range. What...
Looks like a substantial performance improvement and better memory management coming up.

Hello again,
I would like to add WordPad (under Wine) or replace Notepad with a text editor that supports the ability to edit rich text formatted (rtf) files in the BT4 PF persistent environment. I...
I am not doing anything illegal, however I do have a major paranoid/obsessive-compulsive streak that I nurtured since the 70s. BTW, what kind of wiper programs are there that work on BT4?
Thanks...
First, I just want to give huge thanks to everyone involved in the BackTrack project - it is beyond awesome and useful, both as a network testing environment and as a learning tool. That said I hope...
Did you check the Power Manager to make sure that under the "When Laptop Lid Closed" it isn't at the default setting of "Do Nothing"? Sometimes the obvious gets overlooked, "or so I hear".
