For a first attempt, use aireplay-ng -3 instead of the -2 attack...this replays ARP packets. Once everything is setup (airemon-ng listening and aireplay-ng running), you'll find an ARP packet faster...
Anyone having the "no screens found" error needs to download and install the nvidia drivers from their site. As of a few days ago, they had version 260.19.29 and this was the first one that...
This happened to me a lot on Backtrack R1. Seems better in R2. Never figured out what was happening.
There should be a quiz that you need to pass to post on this forum. Ethical and technical questions. Seriously.
MOD EDIT: Use the "Edit this post button" instead of making multiple consecutive posts.
Reinstalled Backtrack R1 just a few weeks ago and everything was going great until for seemingly no reason,...
No joke...LOL. Start your network and stop making me laugh while at work. Granted I wouldn't have been able to diagnose that solely from that error message, but it seems like the first thing I'd...
You do not have control of your internal hardware in VMware and therefore cannot use this. You only have control of external devices such as a USB wifi antennae
You can see if the atheros...
@AisMen
Unless Nvidia has released a new driver for the 330M card, the method you described does not work. That's the reason I wrote this how to. Can you verify the method you described now works...
I'm pretty sure you just need to add a new entry to your menu.lst file. Google the correct format.
Umm...PdaNet? Assuming it's jailbroken you can tether it via USB or use it as a wireless AP by creating an ad hoc network. Just get it from cydia, it comes with instructions. There are numerous other...
Glad to see that helped someone :)
What would be the purpose of this within your own home? If you are simply trying to access the internet then use the router nearest you. I can't imagine a scenario within a home network where you...
I used to have this chipset and man is it a pain. Luckily for you though derv82 has incorporated the workarounds for this chipset right into his GUI without any patches. Try his tool located in this...
While you won't have access to your wireless card in VM, you will be able to connect to the internet. The VM should set up it's own NAT to provide you with internet. Google if you can't figure it out.
Do what crweedon said and also check iwconfig to make sure your card is being recognized as a wireless interface.
Are you certain you're targeting one AP? Make sure in airodump that you're only looking at the AP of choice. If not, make sure you set the MAC of the AP and the corresponding channel.
There may not be a video, but if you check the How To section you should find a nice tutorial by pureh@te on installing the vm tools. He includes explicit instructions as well as screenshots. It's...
I cannot imagine a legitimate reason for wanting to DoS multiple AP's. This forum does not support H4x0rs trying to mess with their neighbors WiFi.
I wrote the thread "How to get Atheros AR9287 Chipset Working" and I'm planning on getting things working with VMware. I'll edit that thread in the next few days hopefully to include that.
I believe that for the scenario,
Victim --- MITM --- Gateway
,when the victim goes to an https site, the website sends the user a certificate. The MITM intercepts that certificate and then...
You need to be using the interface created by airmon-ng for monitoring. Check the wiki for examples.
What on earth are you asking? I'm not going to click on your random link to see what your error is. Post the error here or explain your problem better.
Haha that's great thorin. I wasn't aware of "Let me google that for you." I'll be using that.
Just an idea, but I have noticed that windows often shows many networks that are in fact to far away to actually connect to. In other words, it receives a beacon from the AP, but cannot actually...
