    I have never had to log in on a live boot ... I just had to use startx.
    When you do get to the BT desktop you need to open the Terminal and type:
    passwd root //type new passwd
    retype new Unix...

    if possible log the file that errs and search for that particular .iso's bugs and if it don't exist make a new bug report!
    because I myself own a x64 Windows computer there isn't a lot of x64...

    If this is your AP then you need to reset it! you can't have an IP with 2 different Macs associated with it so when you try to access it have the Mac spoofed 1st then keep that IP & MAC together ....
