    many thanks for this ! - which works fine with a BT4R2. unfortunatly , with a BT5R3 (gnome,32bits,vmware) I experience some troubles ;)

    Hi,
    yes I tried the basic networking stuff.

    It looks like PCI ID 1259:2801 (taken from lspci -n) from this card is not recognized by module 8139cp nor 8139too. Allied telesys support said it...

    Hi,
    I'm stopped with a trouble. sorry if is too simple to answer ;)

    I'm using BT4R2, a laptop, a PCMCIA 2801 Allied telesyn.
    I'm unable to bring up the network :-(
    Of course .. no network...
