aha, playing around with 'iw list' and 'iw set reg' to set country code has got injection working on 13, and has uncovered the other 5Ghz channels. No luck injecting on the 5Ghz range yet...
I've been testing on the 5Ghz range, currently iwlist wlan0 channel only allows (EU):
Channels 1-14 (2.4Ghz)
36-48 (5.18Ghz - 5.24Ghz)
149-165 (5.745Ghz - 5.825Ghz) - These are not allowed in...
Works in BT5R2-GNOME-VM-32-x86 on WinXP with VMWarePlayer 4, didn't have to fiddle with drivers at all. Haven't tested x64 as that VM doesn't work for me.
No luck with injecting on channel 13...
I'm in the UK so 13 is allowed, it will monitor channel13 and detects the AP. Will connect fully to the AP on ch13 etc.
Has anyone else tried this device on ch13?
I have this card working on BT5R1 Gnome VM, however it wont inject on ch13? Any ideas? :D
I have started with airmon-ng wlan0 13, airodump -c 13 etc.
I followed the instructions from:...
Brilliant :D
