personally i recommend drweb its the only that had self repair feature, after that kaspersky and finally NOD32, i think it depends on the user, if the user just use hotmail and youtube for example...
Fatal: raid_setup: stat("/dev/hda") Is due to not remounting "/dev" into the chroot environment, use chroot to change as root the right partition. =)
Try Using the CIFS protocol instead of samba. tell us if works, which version of kernel do u have? check this...
try to use VESA MODE and that should work until you install the right Video drivers good luck
This looks to be from unbuntu. I suggest no one try this --pureh@te
first try
cd /Module
make clean
make
sudo make install
sometimes works for me make changes in permissions:
$ umount /dev/hda
$ chmod 777 /dev/hda (this allows read write etc)
and then use Fdisk o Cfdisk or qtparted.
sound faster to install bt3 and install ubuntu tools...ubuntu had less apps.
usually you find that here... /etc/init.d/
but you can try:
mount --help
umount --help
see too /etc/lilo.conf, /boot/grub/menu.lst or /boot/boot/menu.lst ,
probably is about your video chipsets i had the same problem... i solve it doing this : simply select VESA mode in boot menu that should allow you to boot or select an option and press tab and, edit...
