    Flash 11 in BT5R3 x64, plus Firefox

I know this has been posted before (for 5R1 anyway) but this appears to be a new and different problem.

I followed the instructions for installing the latest Adobe Flash 11.2 64 bit listed...

    Re: BT5R2 Kernel Issues

I'm using 32-bit KDE... Should probably switch to the 64-bit, didn't originally go with it because of compatibility concerns with legacy apps. Did get a new kernel to compile and install. It seems...

Upgraded to R2 no problem... everything works, but...

The 3.2.6 kernel runs way hotter and slower than the 2.6.39 kernel - the drop in performance is really noticeable. I'm on a Dell E6410 (Core...

    Re: Unetbootin problem

Yes to all... tried it repeatedly. Tried formatting thumb drive as all-Fat32 as well as making two partitions (Fat32 and Ext3). It appears to be a Unetbootin problem.

I guess I'll try the manual...

    Unetbootin problem

The latest version of Unetbootin will not successfully extract and install the BT5 iso... it skips over the "Extracting and Installing Files" step and installs the bootloader, then exits. Tried this...
  6. Re: Bt 4 R2 RTL8187 rtl8187 - [phy0]SIOCSIFFLAGS: Unknown error 132

I had the same problem with R2, same adapter, same chipset (RT73). I tried copying the firmware file (rt73.bin) to /lib/firmware from /lib/firmware-2.6.35.8, where it was originally found, reinserted...

    Re: New FERN WIFI CRACKER

I was running fern.py directly... tried running execute.py and it seems to work correctly... maybe a short "README" to suggest how to run it?

Also it needs a function to shut down and clean up...

    OK: some follow up...

I booted BT4R1 direct from USB on a different machine (eeeBox, Atom N270) and tested several wireless cards for injection... Results were very interesting.

Re: Does BT4 includes latest patches?

I have had a similar issue: the rtl8187 passes the "aireplay-ng -9" test, but doesn't actually generate IVs.

The problem is that there isn't a current r8187 driver on BT4R1 for the stock 2.6.34...
