make sure you aren’t using the ( orinoco driver which is what I am using). If the interface name is wlan0, then the driver is HostAP or wlan-ng. However if the interface name is eth0 or eth1, mines...

Do i need to flash my card with patched hostap drivers and I know i need firmware to be at least 1.7.4.
