monitor working too, btw wicd isn't detecting the card, manual connecting should work

it worked with 3.1 firmware for me, i'll test for monitor mode soon
just download the firmware copy to /lib/firmware/ (removing old drivers) and than
rmmod ipw2200
modprobe ipw2200
it should work

exactly same problem there, i've got an ipw2100 card which worked fine whit that firmware

Hai ragione sembra che il fix vesa funzioni solo fino a 1024, comunque qua c'è chi ha risolto...

ciao, io avevo un probema simile, praticamente mi si avviava a 800*600 senza possibilità di alzare la risoluzione, anche se con un chip video differente la soluzione potrebbe essere la stessa...

Salve a tutti, sono abbastanza nuovo a linux, e ho installato un dual boot ubuntu e backtrack.
Non ho avuto nessun problema, nè con bt4 liscio nè con ubuntu ma dopo aver aggiornato backtrack alla R2...
