Not really a bug just a quick fix. The menu bar selection [ Load IPW 3945/4965 ] has a type in it and does not load the iwl3945 drivers .

Dark, not being a Linux expert (although I get by ok) can you confirm this solves the boot and card insert problem ? I just re-installed BT2 and spent a few hours putting all my other bits onto it...

Just a quick note for anyone wanting to update their HD install of BT2 final.
Connect to the internet as normal.
Open console and type cd /pentest/wireless
then simply type update-aircrack.sh...
odd as it seems i also have the same problem using the senao. They may be great cards for cracking etc but for ease of use......hmm

So i run the card prep and load hostap drivers theninsert the card again enter...

i used partition magic to downsize the xp partition. Then made a 3gig linux main partition and a linx swap partition 1.5 gig. I didnt format them just created them. Then i loaded linux live cd...
Thanks for the thread. Formated the Auditor install and had this dual booting with xp in no time. I used qpart to partition the linux drives.
