Re: CUDA on Live Mode, is it possible?

Sure, you just have to grab the nvidia drivers from the website and install them. Instead of rebooting just do a live insert of the kernel module nvidia.ko into the current running kernel and you...

    Re: Problem with AirSSL

With out better error info its hard to tell but it looks like those 2 tools are not in the path and the script cannot find them. I would edit the script and add paths for those tools.

    Re: Cracking WPA/WPA2 without dictionary

No there is no different method. WPA is only broken with a dictionary attack. The best thing to do is use tools like CEWL, wyd.pl and wget to make your own wordlist from Portuguese web sites. I also...

    Re: 2 5770 1 5670 ati cards. lspci doesnt show all 3

Do you have the ATI drivers installed? ATI on Linux just pretty much sucks although it does work with enough head ache and configuration. I would imagine you need the stream drivers to see more than...
  9. Re: How to Capture a 4 way WPA handshake and Upload it to a Online WPA Cracker

This all has to do with the number of packets. My system needs all 4 eapol packets to crack a capture. Aircrack can crack a capture w/ only 2 eapol packets which is what darkicorp probably uses. A...

Re: Rotffl someone has bt envy

I do not have any problem with any other security distros at all. Linux is a build your own kinda OS and every one should build their own at some point. That being said I do feel leeching off of the...

    Re: Latest on gpu cracking?

Well your drivers are messed up to begin with, your having a version issue, also the benchmark is pretty unreliable in my experience, lets see a really attack_passthrough screen shot

    Re: Latest on gpu cracking?

Crossfire or Anything SLI actually decreases performance so dont use it. I wish I could help but as I said I use nvidia since ATI drivers are so buggy. Perhaps some of our ATI users will chime in and...

    Re: Latest on gpu cracking?

Currently its pretty simple, ATI is faster but has crappy buggy drivers and less development and Nvida, while slower has top notch support and development, actively updating the tools chain and is...

Re: How to get a compatible USB GPS to work with Kismet.

Kismet-newcore is in backtrack and its also the same Kismet in /usr/bin. Its not the latest svn check out but it works fine. I just used it this week for a wireless assessment and used both my GPS...

Re: Do tools here ever make it into Backtrack?

Send me the next version and I will review it again, it would be smarter to use the exploitdb already in backtrack since many times on a internal pentest we do not have internet access

Yes I did, I am not certain that this script can be useful in backtrack. Its still under review though. I dont understand why you are even downloading them since the entire database is already on the...

Re: Do tools here ever make it into Backtrack?

The best way to get a tool included is to send me or Balding_Parrot the following things via email:

    The script
    What the script does
If there is already a script which does the same thing, why is...

Re: Do tools here ever make it into Backtrack?

We check this all the time. You cannot just add something to our repos, that would be seriously irresponsible. In fact, of all the forums threads I check this one the most. So add your script if you...
  22. Re: Using SET and LocalHost shows up as 0.0.0.0

There is a setting in the config file which autodetects your local IP. If you turn this setting to off it wll ask you more questions about Ip's and NAT. the 0.0.0.0 is just the way python displays...
