I'm in the loop with ya. It should be just as easy as you explained it. But for some reason it ignores the BT4 entries.

Same here I went as far as copying the entire boot dir over knowing I had a backup then copying the bt3 sysconfig.cfg file over then adding the re-named kernels to the menu. Think we're missing...

on startup of BT3f usb I get the following error in X11

Directory does not exist or har wrong permissions
Directory missing fonts.dir...

ARGV one needs a non-automatic approval also to be able to download attachments ! Geez it's only 10:49PM EDT on a Friday ! Wha!? Other people have a lives !? lol :) Guess I just to get one too or...
