Auto-reconnect,
I have not got auto-reconnect to work on mind,But i always thought it was just bt. As for wicd it work just not auto-reconnect.

All the ALFA AWUS036N is for down load speed, I have the ALFA AWUS036NH, And it work fine.

I hate to say it but i have a dell inspiron 1520, and the wicd works fine for me. And i have linksys router too.As for the wireless i can't say.

I think the side to side option was in bt4, wen i install bt5 idid not see it.

In bt5 foruns go to WiKi, go to radio network analysis then go to wireles drivers go down to 2.2 wireless cards, then go down to 2.2.1 tested and working cards. Good luck!
