    Re: JBroFuzz 2.0, fimap 0.8, Firebug 1.5.3

It would be *much* easier to just select the Firefox add-ons you want and update them through the browser.

Re: I am newbie .... Help me please !!!

Upgrade to BT4 final as all previous editions are no longer supported.
  8. Re: Combining multiple wireless networks for doubled download speed

I think it will also depend upon what sort of connection you have, i.e., cable, fiber. Also consider the signal losses over a distance.

Re: Macbook pro's Wifi card not working with BT4

I expect your full report on whether or not BT4 works on the iPad, and if not, why not! ;-)
  10. Re: Install both Windows 7 and Backtrack 3 And Dual Boot them Successfully!

I'm sure we all certainly appreciate all the time and work you put into this post, but this forum no longer supports BT3. I will keep your post here for archival purposes but am closing the thread.

Re: Macbook pro's Wifi card not working with BT4

I'm shocked that an Apple product would contain parts that are not superior in every way to every other product, ever. ;-)

Re: Crazy future client WEP attack idea

I too have a job, a family, my own house (even though I am currently in the basement). I guess that still makes us all nerds with no life.

BackTrack Linux Downloads | BackTrack Linux

I checked the links on this page just now, and they worked fine.

    Re: kismet help plz

This forum does not support BT3. That being said, you'll want to start kismet from the command line and not the start menu.

    Re: Is my MD5sum correct?

Using size as a measure of confirming the file is correct is not a good idea. While it makes sense that you want it to be the right size, that alone doesn't mean something hasn't been changed, thus...

    Re: Firefox Add-On - Shodan

Re: I can't download final version

This is true, of course. But someone who doesn't have the patience to download from an official source is probably unlikely to check the MD5 hash. Also, it doesn't help with the first problem of...

Re: I can't download final version

I too would suggest that downloading from Rapidshare or other "unofficial" methods is not a good idea; first, developers are interested in knowing how many people are using BackTrack; and second, you...

Re: No usable wireless devices found(BackTrack 3)

BackTrack 3 is no longer supported by these forums--you might try upgrading to BackTrack 4 and see how that affects your problem.
