oops sorry, you are correct. The problem was the data directorys name, on the fat32 volume it was "bt3" when I copied it to the ext2 volume I found it was necessary to rename it to "BT3" and then it...
Are you sure? I've tried it and I get "Fatal error occurred - BT3 data not found." right after "* looking for data directory"
I've been running BT3 off a fat32 formatted sd card. I wanted to move the files onto my ssd which is formatted ext2 would that work?
I'll give it a go with wireshark, thanks.
That's what seems to be happening from time to time. I'm not to worried about someone cracking the pass phrase as it a nice long one with a mixture of alpha-numeric chars.

I'll be having a chat...
Thanks for the feed back.
Streaker69 you are correct no automation should be connected to a wireless network. All the kit we build, if it is networked (modbus profibus or plain old tcp/ip) is...
Having used BT3 to crack my own network I've changed over to wpa encryption (with a nice long alpha-numeric key).
The problem I've got in the office network. I'm an automation engineer with a...
Check the display resolution the BT3 is using I bet it higher than you monitor.
if that is the case you have two choices (that i know of) fix the display driver or start bt3 using the 1024x768...
I had that problem, are you using an ATI graphics card? if so I had to install the correct drivers to get the display res correct.
